Connection Groups

(WINTER/SPRING 2019)

A Connection Group is a small group of people within the church who meet regularly to establish a sense of community and to help live out the reality of the Christian life on a day-to-day basis. The scripture, Church history and our own experience have taught us that small groups are the most effective model for a dynamic church body, which consistently administers the love and grace of God.  The benefits of participating in a Connection Group are far-reaching. In the context of this smaller “spiritual family” you will be able to establish deeper relationships in a warm and safe environment. You will be accepted for who you are while at the same time encouraged to reach your full potential in God. This small group will be a care-giving community as well as a place to grow in areas of serving others.

Storm Shelter: God’s Embrace in the Psalms

Ever been caught by a storm? When it happens, we scramble for shelter. We look for something to shield us from the storm. This world offers a variety of shelters, and while they seem substantial they’re little more than temporary and unreliable. God is the only One who can truly shelter us in the midst of life’s adversities.

This six-session study, based in the psalms, will show you that when you place yourself in God’s embrace you can experience true shelter in the midst of any downpour. But God doesn’t just offer a place of shelter during your storms. He is your shelter.
