ABOUT ME:

I was born and raised in Arizona.  I attended college at Southwestern Bible College (now Arizona Christian University) in Phoenix, received my BS degree in Elementary Education and while there, met and married the most amazing woman, my wife, Christy.  We have been married for over 25 years and have eight awesome children, Camden, age 22 (currently serving in the US Air Force), Payton, age 17, Maylee Grace, age 15, Levi, age 12, Endale, age 11, LillyAnn, age 11, Mark, age 11, and Glory Kate, age 6.  We also have two Labrador retrievers, a mini dachshund, and a handful of chickens.


I love to play and watch sports.  I am a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Coyotes, as well as Phoenix Suns.


I have been in full time ministry since 1997 (over 25 years!)...

I started as the Junior High Youth Pastor at Palmcroft Baptist Church in Phoenix, moved to the Student Ministries/Education Pastor at First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, and for the last 14 years, the Lead Pastor/Church Planter at Paragon Church in Rio Rancho.  During my time in ministry I received my Masters of Arts in Church Leadership from Liberty Theological Seminary.

BRUCE GALE - FAMILY MINISTRIES PASTOR

I was born in South Dakota and raised in Colorado. It was in Colorado that I met Shannon and we were married in 2002. We have been blessed with three sons, Caleb, Eli, and Josh. During that blur of time I attended Colorado Technical University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in 2011 and Master of Science in Computer Science in 2012. Heeding the call to ministry, I returned to school and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where I completed a Master of Divinity in 2018 and am currently pursuing a Ph.D.  

I am a geek and if I am not watching Star Wars or reading a book I am playing board games or going on an adventure with my family.

I have served in churches since 2004. I was a Student ministry leader at White Rock Baptist Church in Los Alamos, a Youth Ministry Intern at Albuquerque's First Baptist Church, the Student Minister at First Baptist West Albuquerque, Student Pastor at Monterey Baptist Church, and am excited to be the Family Ministry Pastor here at Paragon Church.
